Membership Meeting
August 16, 2005
Members Present
18 members signed the book, however, some members and or guests did not. (So if you haven’t signed the book please do so.)
Call to Order
Hank Mlinarich called the meeting to order at 7:30 pm
Pledge
The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag of the Unites Sates was recited by all present.
Minutes
The Minutes of the July membership meeting were read and accepted as read
Treasures Report
Pat Weber read the Treasurers Report.
Motion to accept by: Jeff Howard
2nd to that motion by: Terry White
The treasurer’s report will stand as read.
Correspondence
None except an email to Pat Weber from Tom Matthews.
Tom Matthews has convinced the assessor’s office to reduce the valuation of the Orchard Mesa Gun Club properties comprising the 18-acre parcel, which is occupied by our current rifle range and pistol pit also the relatively new 40-acre parcel south of the 18-acre range site.
Committee Reports
Hunter Bench Rest: Jeff Howard reported that 10 shooters participated and turned $10.00 over to the madam of the treasury Pat Weber.
High Power: Jeff Howard reported that six shooters participated, turned $12.00 over to the club treasury.
Old Business
There was no old business discussed at this meeting. This should not be construed that there is no old business of the Orchard Mesa Gun Club, just that there was none discussed.
New Business
Darrell Henshaw introduced himself as a new member.
Adjournment
Russ Weber made a motion to adjourn this month’s membership meeting
Terry White seconded that motion
There being no objections Hank Mlinarich adjourned this meeting at 7:45 PM
