Call to Order
Irv Deines called the meeting to order at 7:30 pm
Pledge
The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag of the Unites Sates was recited by all present.
Minutes
The Minutes of the March membership meeting were read and accepted as read
Treasures Report
The Treasurers Report was read by Pat Weber.
Motion to accept by: Alan Chicon
2nd to that motion by: Lee Boren
The treasurer’s report will stand as read.
Correspondence
A solicitation from NRA endorsed insurance.
Committee Reports
Schuetzenfest
$39.00 in range fees was collected. Pat Weber reported that there were thirteen shooters registered.
Battle Rifle
Jeff Howard announced the Battle rifle tournament dubbed “Axis vs Allied” to be held April 22, 2006.
Un-Finished Business
Crime stoppers:
Tom Matthews would like to find out more about how the funds requested would be used, and if the Eddie Eagle program could be incorporated into the Crime-Stoppers program somehow.
Al Chicon (AKA Alan Chicon) moved that we send a thank you letter to Bill Skoggins for the work he did on the range with his equipment.
Lee Boren seconded the motion, which was then voted on and passed unanimously.
Tom Matthews reports that the land purchase involving Jerald Reid would be finalized on April 19, 2006.
Also Tom has been in contact with Mr. Rinderle. Tom Feels that Rinderle is more open to our position and that we should take advantage of his good mood. It should be noted that Mr. Rinderle will no doubt continue to attempt to build homes in the area directly north of our range. Once he finally hits on a deal that the county can approve there will be some sort of construction on that land.
New Business
Work Day May 13
Empty the trash barrels
Clean up the entire property
Clear the roadway by the 40-acre “upper range” flag.
