ORCHARD MESA GUN CLUB MEMBERS MEETING
October 16, 2012
CALL TO ORDER: The meeting was called to order at 7:30 PM by the President, Chuck Lopas. There were 10 members present... The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was recited by all present.
MINUTES: The August and September minutes were read by the Secretary and accepted as read.
TREASURERS REPORT: The treasurers report was given by the treasurer. It was moved, seconded and passed to approve the report.
CORESPONDENCE: None.
COMMITTEE REPORTS: The public sight in days were poorly attended, with mostly Club members shooting. The September High Power match had 3 shooters and $9.00 was turned in to the Club.
OLD BUSINESS: The propane tank donated to the Club is in the Quonset hut and the 4H shooters have agreed to paint the tank.
NEW BUSINESS: The Nominating Committee was formed consisting of Russ Weber, Tom Matthews, and Jerry Bush. The Secretary will compose a notice to be posted on the web site regarding the need for members to be willing to assume officer positions in the near future as the current officers are all in their 60’s or older. A reminder of the opportunity to acquire the donated Winchester Model 70 rifle in 225 WSSM, along with loading dies and ammunition will also be posted on the Club’s web site.
ADJOURNMENT: There being no further business to come before the members it was moved, seconded and passed to adjourn. The meeting was adjourned at 7:57 by the President.
