ORCHARD MESA GUN CLUB MEMBERS MEETING
July 21, 2015
CALL TO ORDER: The meeting was called to order at 7:30 PM by the President, Eric Kjeldgaard. There were 8 members present. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited by all present.
MINUTES: The Minutes of the June, 2015 Members Meeting were read by the Secretary an approved as read.
TREASURERS REPORT: The Treasurers Report was given by the Vice President, Jon Kobylarz, in the absence of the Treasurer. It was moved, seconded and passed to accept the Report. A copy is attached to and made a part of these minutes.
CORESPONDENCE: None.
COMMITTEE REPORTS: There were 9 shooters at the June High Power Match and $27.00 was turned in. There were 5 shooters at the July High Power Match and $15.00 was turned in. There were 4 shooters at the July Schutzen Match and $12.00 was turned in.
OLD BUSINESS: There were 52 shooters competing at the Tri River 4H match. There were 36 competitors at the Mesa County 4H Fair Match. Eric Kjeldgaard presented two estimates for the construction of a replacement target shed at the range one from Cleary Building Corporation and the other from Mor Storage Sales. These are attached to and made a part of these minutes. Jeff Howard presented information on Creedmoor Sport’s portable air rifle range as a possibility for use in the new target shed. The 4H shooters are currently using this system it was noted.
NEW BUSINESS: Water needs to be added to the portable toilet on the south range. Jeff Howard volunteered to do this. Russ Weber presented a 50 cal amo box for the use of the Club at Tom Mathew’s request.
ADJOURNMENT: There being no further business to come before the members, it was moved, seconded and passed to adjourn. The Meeting was adjourned at 7:54 PM by the President.
