ORCHARD MESA GUN CLUB MEMBERS MEETING
February 16, 2016
CALL TO ORDER: The Meeting was called to order at 7:30 PM by the President, Eric Kjeldgaard. There were 8 members present. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited by all present.
MINUTES: The Minutes of the January, 2016 Members Meeting were read and approved as read.
TREASURERS REPORT: The Treasurers Report was given by the Treasurer, it was moved, seconded and passed to approve the Report. A copy is attached to and made a part of these Minutes.
CORESPONDENCE: None.
COMMITTEE REPORTS: The Audit Committee submitted their Annual Report of the Club’s financial activity and assets. A copy is attached to and made a part of these Minutes.
OLD BUSINESS: The Club News Letter will be mailed to the membership on March 10, 2016. The gate lock combination which will be changed April 2, 2016 will be in the News Letter to all active members.. Inactive Members will not receive the new combination until they renew their membership. The Colorado Parks and Wildlife, Outdoor Heritage Day at the Riverbend Park in Palisade will be April 30, 2016. The Club will participate. It was suggested the Club have BB gun target shooting for kids. Eric Kjeldgaard will check with the 4H Club shooters to see if they would be interested in joining us for this. There will need to be at least 3 people present at all times during the event. There is the possibility of having shifts of 4 hours one from 8:00 AM until Noon, and one from Noon to 4:00PM. Art Bennett will coordinate with CPW.
NEW BUSINESS: There was discussion about what needs to be done at the March 19, 2016 Work Day. Tom Mathews proposed the Club replace the Quonset hut with a new building, and remove the old target and storage shed. This will continue to be explored.
ADJOURNMENT: There being no further business to come before the members the Meeting was adjourned at 8:13 PM by the President.
