ORCHARD MESA GUN CLUB MEMBERS MEETING
March 15, 2016
CALL TO ORDER: The Meeting was called to order at 7:30 PM by the President, Eric Kjeldgaard. There were 13 members present. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited by all present.
MINUTES: The Minutes of the February, 2016 Members Meeting were read by the Secretary and approved as read.
TREASURERS REPORT: The Treasurers Report was given by the Treasurer. It was moved, seconded and passed to approve the Report. A copy is attached to and made a part of these Minutes.
CORESPONDENCE: A letter was received from the NRA-ILA thanking the Club for the donation of $250.00. It is attached to and made a part of these Minutes.
COMMITTEE REPORTS: The Match Director of High Power reviewed recent changes regarding the use of scopes on rifles approved by the NRA. He also talked about the plan to hold a tactical match in the future following the general guidelines of the new NRA provisional ones for tactical matches.
OLD BUSINESS: The first Work Day is scheduled for March 19 and we need to do weed control, place sign posts, and check the perimeter fence and signage, We need post hole diggers, spades, tamping bars, a Burn Permit, and if possible an ATV to check the Club property perimeter. The Outdoor Heritage Days BB gun shoot was approved by CPW. We need volunteers to set it up and run it on April 30th. The News Letter was sent to all active and inactive Club members. Only active members were given the combination to the gates that will change April 2nd. The Certificate of Liability Insurance from Grand Valley Training Club was received. It is attached to and made a part of these minutes.
NEW BUSINESS: None.
ADJOURNMENT: There being no further business to come before the members the Meeting was adjourned at 7:56 PM by the President.
