ORCHARD MESA GUN CLUB MEMBERS MEETING
June 21, 2016
CALL TO ORDER: The Meeting was called to order at 7:30 PM by the President, Eric Kjeldgaard. There were 8 members present. The pledge of Allegiance was recited by all present.
MINUTES: The Minutes of the May, 2016 Members meeting were read by the Secretary and approved as read.
TREASURERS REPORT: In the absence of the Treasurer, no report was given. The printed report is attached to and made a part of these minutes.
CORESPONDENCE: None.
COMMITTEE REPORTS: The 4H Invitational had 17 participants. The Schutzen Match in April had 5 shooters and $15.00 was turned in. The Schutzen Regional Match had 9 shooters and $27.00 was turned in. There were 5 shooters at the June Hunter Benchrest match and $15.00 was turned in. There were 4 shooters at the June High Power Match and $12.00 was turned in.
OLD BUSINESS: At the Work Day the weeds from last year were burned. Most of the North Range was mowed, and the ground drug. The North Rimfire Rifle pit was drug the Saturday before the Work Day. There were approximately 7 members present for the Work Day.
NEW BUSINESS: The 4H shooters at the Mesa County Fair will be using the entire range for their shooting activities. Jeff Howard presented an e-mail from Jack Behrman soliciting interest in paid pit pulling duty at matches held at the Stengel Range by the Colorado West Gun Club. Interested persons can contact Jack to get further information and express their interest. A copy of this e-mail is attached to and made a part of these minutes. Irv Deines proposed the Club purchase some shooting rests for the Public Sight In days later this year. It was moved, seconded and passed to do this. We also need to begin promoting this event.
ADJOURNMENT: There being no further business to come before the members , the Meeting was adjourned at 7:51 PM by the President.
