ORCHARD MESA GUN CLUB MEMBERS MEETING
November 15, 2016
CALL TO ORDER: The Meeting was called to order at 7:30 PM by the President, Eric Kjeldgaard. There were 11 members and 1 guest present. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited by all present.
MINUTES: The Minutes of the October, 2016 Members Meeting were read by the Secretary and accepted as corrected.
TREASURERS REPORT: The October Treasurers Report was given by the Treasurer. It was moved, seconded and passed to approve the Report. A copy is attached to and made a part of these minutes.
CORESPONDENCE: None.
COMMITTEE REPORTS: The Nominating Committee reports all current Club officers have agreed to stand for reelection at the December, 2016 Members Meeting where other candidates may be offered from the floor.
OLD BUSINESS: The tabled motion made at the October, 2016 Members Meeting that BOD and Officers be excused from paying annual renewal fees that was again tabled.
NEW BUSINESS: The Club's Annual Report to the Colorado Secretary of State was e-filed by the Chairman of the BOD. A copy is attached to and made a part of these minutes. Art Bennett presented a situation where a shooter at the Public Sight In was so off target he needed to shoot at 25 yards on the North Range to get on paper. This was a safety issue concerning his shots hitting the 50 yard berm. Discussion followed and it was concluded in the future a taller target at 25 yard that allows for impact at 50 yard on the berm or moving the shooter to the South Range would solve this issue. The 2016 Audit Committee was formed consisting of Bruce McBride, Eric Kjeldgaard, and Jon Kobylarz. The Committee will schedule a meeting with the Treasurer and submit it's report at the February, 2017 Members Meeting.
ADJOURNMENT: There being no further business to come before the members the Meeting was adjourned at 7:55 PM by the President.
