ORCHARD MESA GUN CLUB MEMBERS MEETING
August 15, 2017
CALL TO ORDER: The Meeting was called to order at 7:30 PM by the President, Eric Kjeldgaard. There were 13 members present. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited by all present.
MINUTES: The Minutes of the July, 2017 Meeting were read by the Secretary and approved as read.
TREASURERS REPORT: The Treasurers Report was given by the Treasurer. It was moved, seconded and passed to accept the Report. A copy of the Report is attached to and made a part of these Minutes.
CORESPONDENCE: A letter from Shooting Bench Company was received. A calendar from Wounded Warrior Project was received. An email from Hank Mlinarich detailing the recent sales of target rifles he is selling on consignment for the Club, and remaining rifles was received. It is attached to and made a part of these Minutes.
COMMITTEE REPORTS: The August Hunter Bench Rest match had 3 shooters and $9.00 was turned in to the Club.
OLD BUSINESS: Cleary Building has submitted final engendering plans for a Building Permit from Mesa County. There was further discussion on final specifications for the new target shed.
NEW BUSINESS: Art Bennett presented the flyer to be distributed promoting the Club's Public Sight In Days. A copy is attached to and made a part of these Minutes. Several members volunteered to help distribute these flyers. It was moved, seconded and passed to spend up to $50.00 for advertising and promotion of the events. Volunteers for the September 9th sight in were listed. Recently the combination was left on an open gate lock. Members are reminded they are to dial off the gate lock combination when they open the gate and preferably close the lock so it cannot be stolen.
ADJOURNMENT: There being no further business to come before the members the Meeting was adjourned at 8:05 PM by the President.
