OLD BUSINESS: There were 8 stalwart volunteers at the OMGC Booth at the Outdoor Heritage Days in Palisade. Over 200 kids shot targets with BB guns. There were some safety issues; a girl was hit by a BB with no injury sustained, some parents were in front of the firing line, and these concerns will be addressed next year. The Club’s liability insurance does cover us even though it was not on Club property. A lot of work at the April Work Day included weed burning, repairing the target line steps at 200 yards, breaking down old targets for the lumber, walking the perimeter and repairing signs were done. It was noted we need to get more signs for the perimeter. Two people will be tearing down the old target shed for the lumber.

NEW BUSINESS: Gene Dreher will be the new Web Master for the Club’s web site. Members of the Grand Junction First Church of the Nazarene requested the use of the South Range for pistol training and practice for a Church security group. They have a certified instructor and will pay the $3.00 per person range fee. They wanted to do this on May 20, 2018 at 1:30 PM. It was moved, seconded and passed to approve this. There was discussion about the need for new signs on Club property.

ADJOURNMENT: There being no further business to come before the Members the Meeting was adjourned at 8:14 PM by the President.

Respectfully submitted,

Jeff Howard, Secretary
