ORCHARD MESA GUN CLUB MEMBERS MEETING

October 16, 2018

CALL TO ORDER: The Meeting was called to order at 7:30 PM by the President, Eric Kelgaard. There were 10 members present. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited by all present.

MINUTES: The Minutes of the September 2018 Members Meeting were read by the Secretary and approved as read.

TREASURERS REPORT: The Treasurers Report was given by the Treasurer. It was moved, seconded, and passed to approve the Report. A copy is attached to and made a part of these Minutes.

CORESPONDENCE: An e-mail was received notifying us our web site will be renewed.

COMMITTEE REPORTS: The multiple Public Sight In times were only attended by Club Members, perhaps due to weather issues. There were 11 shooters at the new Rim Fire Bench Rest Postal Match, and $33.00 was turned in.

OLD Business: The 70th Anniversary commemorative screw drivers were received and were incorrect. A second shipment of the correct ones was subsequently received, and the wrong ones were not wanted to be returned by the company. Effective with January 2019 renewals and new memberships the membership card will be placed in a plastic sleeve with a clip as a means of identification at the range instead of the badges.

NEW BUSINESS: There was discussion regarding the placement of some type of drought resistant native grass on the North Range. A test plot will be developed with help from the Colorado State University Extension Service, from the 50-yard berm to the base of the elevated area in front of the firing line, and from the building to the south gravel path. The portable toilet on the South Range will be serviced. The Nominating Committee was formed with Tom Mathews, Bruce McBride, and Allan Chicon as members.

ADJOURNMENT: There being no further business to come before the members the Meeting was adjourned at 8:03 PM by the President.

Respectfully submitted,

Jeff Howard, Secretary
