It's hard to imagine a worse bill. But you shouldn't even think that, because the Democrats would take up the challenge.
While this was perpetrated by the Democrats, they couldn't have done it without the able assistance of Dave Williams and lots of other "Republicans" and their "consultants". (Political "consulting" is a 40% mark-up business. Having nothing to do with actually winning elections.)

Polis signs one of the Worst Gun control laws in America
I'm normally fairly bright about this stuff. I've been doing "gunrights" stuff since 1989. I would have bet money that Polis, a man with bigger political ambitions, wouldn't have signed it. I was wrong, he did.
Now comes the "make the lawyers richer" part of the game. (And screw any little guy who gets crossways.) Hoping that some guy in a black dress will save us. I like political power better as a real solution, but that means that a whole lot of people have to pay attention and get active BEFORE the weasels get control, and remove any in control.
And make no mistake, your guns are next. (Thinking otherwise is just delusional.)
