High Power Rifle at OMGC is fired from a distance of 100 yards. The Matches fire the 50 shot National Match Course. Ten shots are fired from the standing position, single loading in 10 minutes. Ten shots are fired from the sitting position in 60 seconds with one mandatory magazine change or reload. Ten shots are fired from the prone position in 70 seconds with one mandatory magazine change or reload. Finally twenty shots are fired from the prone position single loading in 20 minutes. Smaller targets are fired from prone to simulate longer distances. Cost of this match is $10.00. Shooters scores are turned in to the NRA so shooters can be classified. Participation in these Matches qualify you to purchase products from the CMP, including M-1 rifles.
